CYR Caucuses are groups that advocate for the representation of their respective interests within CYR and the Republican Party. They provide members with opportunities to engage more deeply, build community around shared interests or experiences, and promote Republican ideals throughout Chicago and beyond.
Any group of five Members of CYR may petition the Board of Governors to charter a Caucus to forward ideas, advance an issue, or represent a shared interest or constituency.

Mission & Purpose
The Catholic Caucus exists to ensure meaningful representation of Catholics within the Republican Party and the Chicago Young Republicans.
It promotes policies grounded in faith, reason, and human dignity in line with Catholic social teaching, including a commitment to the corporal works of mercy and practical care for the most vulnerable.
The caucus works to advance Catholic perspectives in public life and support candidates as well as initiatives consistent with these values, while fostering fellowship among Catholics in the city.
