RNHA Leadership

 

President – Angel Garcia is a white collar crime investigator at a major futures exchange. He holds a J.D. from John Marshall and is an MBA candidate. Angel has worked with a number of community organizations including the United Neighborhood Organization. He has over a decade of political experience and is also serves on the board of the Chicago Young Republicans.

 

Vice President – Mark Aguilera has been involved in politics for ten years, serving from election judge to National Committeeman for the Illinois RNHA. Mark’s professional background is in finance technology and has worked for multiple global financial institutions. Outside of the RNHA, he has been an advocate of comprehensive immigration reform and is also a 2008 graduate of the Metropolitan Leadership Institute. Mark is the single father of Anthony who lives with him in Willows Springs.

 

Executive Director – Lou Sandoval is a 16 year sales professional. He is president of Karma Yacht Sales, LLC and is a lifelong sailor. Lou is a happily married and lives in Chicago.

 

Secretary- Christina Villanueva is an accounting professional and has worked as a tax technician for KPMG. She has worked for a number of non-for-profits, and is involved with her parish. Christina also serves as IL state chair and Hispanic Outreach lead for Smart Girls Politics.

 

Treasurer – Marcos Bernal is president and founder of new hope ministries. He is a Chicago resident and is involved in his community and parish. Marcos also serves as a mentor for Chicago Public School students.

 

Communications Director – Veronica Vera is the President and CEO of her own Public Relations and Communications firm. She has many of years of political experience, where she has served as the public relations director on a number of local races.

 

Political Action Director – Lionel Garcia was elected 16th Ward Republican Committeeman in 2008, where he works to increase the number of influence and size of the Republican organization. Lionel has been involved in politics since 2004 where he has worked on a number of local and statewide races. He has worked in the trading floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and is a former member of the National Guard.

 

Legal Council – Jay Reyes is the founder and lead attorney at Riverside Lawgroup. Jay has been active in politics for over a decade, and has been active in local and statewide races. Jay is also active in his Republican Township organization where he serves as deputy chairman.

 

Expansion Director - Israel is active in the growth of the Suburban Cook County chapter of the Young Republicans, and serves as an election judge in Southern Cook County and is also s precinct captain for Rich Township. Israel runs a residential real estate appraisal business. He currently is completing his B.S. degree at Robert Morris University. He is active in his church as well as the local community. Israel is married to Mairim Smith and they live in Matteson.
