"It's Not Easy Being Right in Chicago" campaign launched

Young Republican conservatives are charging back in Barack Obama's hometown, determined to coax timid Republicans out of their hiding places and join up to push back on Chicago's famed corrupt, liberal Democratic control.

The Chicago Young Republicans launched a month-long membership drive for June 2009 with a first-class PR campaign, featuring ads on the heavily-traveled Chicago Transit Authority's Blue, Red and Brown Lines. The ads are decked with GOP-identified elephants and the words "It's Not Easy Being Right in Chicago."
