(WGN-AM)- Chicago Young Republicans Want YOU...even if you're currently a Democrat.
The group launched a recruiting campaign Monday morning at the Southport El station in Chicago. They plan to raise awareness through advertisements on CTA trains and busses, restraunts, and the Internet.
"We want to let everyone else know...who feels like they're alone...there are a lot of [Republican supporters] out here that are like minded people like them," CYR member Corrine Williams said.
The marketing campaign will continue throughout June, with a culminating event later this month.
