That's $2.2 million while the city has cut back on... dog adoption hours and other areas that some might argue are more critical.
And it's not certain the Feds (i.e. the rest of the country) will repay. In and of itself, $2.2 million isn't that much when you look at the city budget as a whole, perhaps. BUT you and I, friends, are still paying for it. And isn't the city still on the hook for security for election night?
