See the latest CYR Video Debut at the IL GOP Unity Breakfast!
On Wednesday, February 3 (the day after the Illinois Republican Primary), the Illinois Republican Party will host a Unity Breakfast from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Union League Club, 65 W. Jackson Blvd., in Chicago.
We are very pleased to announce that Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, Chairman of the Republican Governors Association, will join us as our special guest for our unity gathering. After Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts, this is a great opportunity to hear Governor Barbour’s thoughts on the similarities between our states and how we can win Illinois by uniting as Republicans for the November elections.
Governor Barbour is also a former Chairman of the Republican National Committee. During his tenure as RNC Chairman, Republicans captured both houses of the United States Congress, taking the House of Representatives for the first time in forty years.
"I look forward to Governor Barbour's comments on how we can work together to win elections across Illinois this November. Illinois' citizens are energized and ready to bring true Change to Illinois after almost a decade of Democratic single party rule,” said Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady
"Working together, Illinois Republicans have a great opportunity to right the direction of this great state and provide leadership from the local to the statewide levels,” said Chairman Brady.
Those wishing to attend must RSVP in advance to Steve Ettinger at settinger@ilgop.org.
