CYR Debate Watch Party - What's on tap?

So, what's on tap at the CYR presidential debate watching party?(Besides some solid conversation with liberty-lovers like yourself, of course.)

We're glad you asked!

Our friends at District Bar have arranged for half-priced ("fiscally responsible") cocktails. Some witty CYRs have taken this offer to the next level.

Check out the clever conservative concoctions available for order on Monday, June 13th from 6pm-8pm at District Bar:

Why We Need Tax Hike Repeal!

Our friends at IPI are doing great work valiantly fighting against Governor Quinn's budget-busting, jobs-killing, business-stifling tax hikes. Sign their petition and join the repeal movement at repealthetaxhike.com

On their RepealTheTaxHike blog, they list the following 10 reasons why repeal is critical:

Mitch Daniels State of the State Address

As those of us in Illinois anxiously (and angrily) await news of an inevitable tax increase, Hoosiers next door get to enjoy the fiscal sanity and responsibility fostered by their amazing Governor Daniels. We can live vicariously, though, and watch Daniels' State of the State Address tonight here at 6pm local time. Sadly, our own governor will almost certainly be too busy assaulting our wallets to watch and learn from Mitch's miraculous ways himself.

PS - As if other reasons to envy our friends in Indiana are necessary, click here for Illinois Policy Institute's tax-hike calculator and see how Springfield's shenanigans will affect you.
