One Iconic Seat, One Legendary Election - Republicans Take It!

Chicago, IL – On January 19, 2010, in a special election the state of Massachusetts elected Republican State Senator Scott Brown over Democratic Attorney General Martha Coakley to the United States Senate. This seat, previously held by the late Senator Ted Kennedy for 49 years was won in 1962 in another special election. However this election was very different.

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year: President Obama Ends 2009 at His All Time Low

Its not a very Merry Christmas for President Obama when he woke up this morning to a White Elephant gift from Rasmussen. Todays polls revealed that a whopping 56% of Americans STRONGLY disapprove of President Obama. This is most likely a direct result of the 55% who oppose Obamacare that is being rushed through the Senate as we speak.

Yes, this is much different than 20 year high approval rating that President Obama was enjoying last spring. What a difference six months makes. Looks like Americans have began to look beyond the smoke and mirrors.

President Obama's Numbers Continue to Go Down......Still

Rassmussen Reports that President Obama's numbers have declined once again, with only 30% of the American public "strongly approving" of him. This is 15% drop from Febuary.  Further those who think the President is doing a "good" job is 45% which is a 3% drop from the end of July. No doubt that this has to do with Americans unhappy with what President Obama and the Democrats are trying to create a massive new healthcare entittlement program....which is also cited by Rassmussen with over half the country (51%) fearing government run healthcare.

President Obama's Numbers Continue to Go Down......Surprise Surprise

Acording to the latest Rasmussen Poll President Obama is once again losing his popularity, down to 48%. Which is a 1% drop from last week...... Honeymoon is over huh America?

2012: Romney Tied with Obama!

According to a July 20 Rasmussen Poll, if the 2012 Presidential election were held today President Obama and Mitt Romney would be tied at 45 percent. Further, if the 2012 race were between Sarah Palin and Obama, the current President would only be ahead of the Alaska Governor by 6 percentage points.

US Deficit Tops $1 Trillion for the First Time

The new budget deficit numbers for June came out and it shows that the US budget deficit has topped one trillion for the first time in history, coming in at $1.1 trillion. The budget deficit predictions made in September of 2008 show that under President Bush the deficit was $454.8 billion. Which means that since last September and under the Obama Administration the deficit has ballooned by over $645 billion!

A Nation Divided:President Obama Polling Numbers Show a Decrease in Support

Today a new Rasmussen poll was released. We’ve all been bombarded with the constant attention to President Obama’s “high” approval rating. While I have always contested that the President’s approval ratings tend to be inflated, I think this survey shows some merit.

Nationalized Medicine: Not Right for Our Nation

Recently President Obama has announced his plan for healthcare in America. It is no secret that our President is a fan of socialized medicine and his plan aims to make the Government a larger player in our healthcare and puts Government bureaucrats between you and your physicians. But how much information have we received on the effectiveness of nationalized healthcare in other countries that use this system?

$250,000 Date & We Footed the Bill

Last week President Obama took his wife on such an expensive date that even Donald Trump would be impressed. It was the Big Apple, and the grand total was $250,000. That’s right, in a recession, when there is a 9.4% unemployment rate, where so many Americans cant even afford to pay their mortgage, our President takes time out of his busy schedule to take the First Lady on a date that could pay the annual salaries of over 11 families of four living at the Federal Poverty Level ($22,050 annually).
