We’re three weeks away from the Illinois primary elections (March 18) where the Republican Party will nominate our candidates across the state for the general election in November. That means that the gubernatorial debates will be in full swing over the next three weeks and the CYRs will be watching front and center! Mark your calendars now as we’ll be hosting debate watching parties for the latter two dates (March 4 and March 13):

Benedictine University will host the final debate prior to the 2014 primary featuring the Republican candidates running for governor from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6 in the Dan and Ada Rice Center on the University’s main campus in Lisle.
The debate is a ticket-required event. A limited number of free tickets are available and may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or Priya Roberts at (630) 829-6460. Tickets must be acquired in advance and will not be issued at the door.
AM 560 “The Answer,” which is co-sponsoring the debate with Benedictine University, will air a live remote broadcast from 5:00-7:00 p.m. leading up to the debate featuring former Illinois congressman Joe Walsh. A one-hour post-debate show is scheduled from 9:00-10:00 p.m.
